Healthcare Apps and Devises For Smartphones

On Wednesdays, April 3 through May 22, from 10:30 am ‐ 12:00 noon at the Senior Center, join Allen Waxman for the continuation of this 10‐week course (90 minute sessions), now updated and expanded from the 2023 version based on feedback from past attendees. Home healthcare has moved into the digital age with apps and devices that work together with your smartphone. This course for smartphone & tablet users (iPhone, iPad and Android phones & tablets) will describe and demo a variety of healthcare apps and home medical devices for smartphones & tablets. Each session will focus on a particular health theme:

4/3: Medication Management
4/10: Vision Aids & Dictation
4/17: Hearing Aids & Verbalization
4/24: Blood Glucose, Ketones & Diabetes
5/1: Carbs & Weight Management
5/8: Heart Health
5/15: Respiratory Health
5/22: Sleep Health

Seniors that use smartphones & tablets can attend any and all sessions.
