CREATE MATS FOR HOMELESS SHELTERS

Are you interested in learning how to turn single‐use plastic bags into ʺplarnʺ (plastic yarn) and crocheting them into mats? Every other week on Wednesdays 2from 2:30‐4:00 pm (this month on 2/12 and 2/26), join high school students Isabel and Emily as they teach participants to create and crochet plarn into mats that will be donated to homeless shelters. These mats are not only durable and easy to clean but also provide much‐needed warmth for those experiencing homelessness. No experience necessary!
