What is Team Brookline?
The Town of Brookline’s official Boston Marathon team, managed by The Brookline Center.
Do runners need to live in Brookline?
No—Brookline residency is not required.
What’s the fundraising commitment?
Minimum $8,500; most runners exceed $10,000. (Last year, Team Brookline’s top runner/fundraiser, Caroline Fox, raised $36,000.)
What support do runners receive?
Structured marathon training + weekly group runs
Fundraising coaching, tools, and resources
Access to a private running coach + personalized plans
Team Brookline gear and ongoing support from staff and teammates
What’s the application timeline?
Rolling through October. Strong applicants will be offered bibs until the roster is full; we’ll maintain a waitlist for qualified runners.
