Because of You: Our Impact in Action

As the Brookline Senior Center’s 25th Anniversary year closes, and the next chapter begins, I’d like to send a heartfelt thank you to our staff, board, volunteers, donors, participants, and community partners. This place rocks!

Thanks to your support, we are able to provide essential services that help Brookline seniors remain independent, connected, and thriving through:

Compelling educational and entertaining presentations, a variety of classes, including arts & crafts, and games such as bridge and Mahjong, as well as support groups that combat isolation and loneliness.

Transportation services that keep seniors connected to critical medical appointments, grocery shopping, and community life.

Fitness activities that promote strength and balance, dance, ping-pong, Qigong, and Zumba — regardless of income.

Tech support, grocery shopping and visits for homebound residents, and volunteer opportunities.

Hunger-reduction initiatives that provide nutritious meals and food security for vulnerable older adults.

Medical equipment, such as canes, walkers, and incontinence supplies.

Emergency assistance for seniors facing unexpected crises because stability can change overnight.

Gratitude for Our Community of Givers

This November, when you make your contributions, please keep the Brookline Senior Center Foundation top of mind. Your support makes a significant difference in the lives of your neighbors.

Much appreciation for whatever you have contributed, do contribute, and plan to contribute to the Brookline Senior Center Foundation!

Warm regards,

Betsy Pollock, MSW
