To Our Brookline Senior Center Community,
Due to the snow and Town wide Snow Emergency, the Brookline Senior Center will be CLOSED today, Tuesday 1/27/2026. There will be no programming, transportation services, or food services today.
Please note that the Senior Center will be closed on Monday, February 16 in observance of Washington’s Birthday and Presidents’ Day. There will be no Springwell meal service or transportation services that day.
On Thursday, November 6 from 1:00-2:00 pm, Carol Pineiro will share the rich history and culture of Türkiye (new name for Turkey) from a recent trip there. From the Roman conquest to the Byzantine capital to the Ottoman empire, this country is a fascinating mixture of east and west. A Muslim majority country that has a clear separation between religion and government, Türkiye is a modern country with ancient roots.
