The Brookline Senior Center will be closed on Tuesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. There will be no food or transportation services available that day.
On Wednesday, January 8 from 1:00-2:00 pm, join guitarist, composer, and educator Austin Smith for an afternoon of soulful blues and elegant jazz guitar. A finalist for The American Prize in Composition (2025), Austin’s playing bridges the expressive depth of the blues with the harmonic richness of jazz — bringing fresh life to beloved standards and timeless melodies. This intimate solo performance offers a rare chance to hear Austin’s distinctive arrangements up close. Audience requests for favorite jazz or blues tunes are warmly welcomed — submit yours during November to be part of the show!
