In observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day, the Brookline Senior Center will be closed on December 25 and January 1. No transportation (transport or medical) or food services will be available on those days.
Friday December 26th and Friday January 2 the building will be open, but transportation (transport or medical) and food services will not be available.
On Monday, November 24 from 1:00-2:15 pm, we welcome back “Poetry Troubadour” Gordon Postill for an engaging 75 minutes of poetry recitation and introspection. Using an understated delivery, Gordon recites renowned poets such as Mary Oliver, Wendell Berry, and Jane Kenyon. Each poem, different from the ones Gordon has shared before, will be recited twice for clarity, followed by ample time for silent and shared reflections.
