Osteoporosis and Fall Presention
On Wednesday, September 11 at 11:00 am, join Dr. Jalil, who will discuss fall prevention and osteoporosis in older adults. Osteoporosis means weak and brittle bones and very often patients with low bone density are prone to fractures. Dr. Jalil will talk about focusing on preventing fractures and low bone density. Dr. Jalil trained in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She has practiced as a rheumatologist in Missouri, Hawaii, Oklahoma and now Boston. She has a rheumatology practice in Dedham and is Principal Investigator at DM Clinical Research in Brookline where she conducts clinical trials on patient volunteers with a great emphasis on maintaining high ethical stands and a focus on patient safety.
