In observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day, the Brookline Senior Center will be closed on December 25 and January 1. No transportation (transport or medical) or food services will be available on those days.

On Monday, November 17 from 1:30-2:30 pm, discover the colors and patterns of the Silk Road through creative leather collage! In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll arrange vibrant leather shapes into a beautiful geometric design. Your finished piece can be used as a coaster for your tea or coffee, or simply as a decorative artwork to bring a touch of handmade beauty into your home. Enjoy a short talk on Silk Road art and culture, and experience how infinite creativity can arise from simple forms. This program is made possible by the generous funding of the Brookline Commission for the Arts, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
