In observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day, the Brookline Senior Center will be closed on December 25 and January 1. No transportation (transport or medical) or food services will be available on those days.
Friday December 26th and Friday January 2 the building will be open, but transportation (transport or medical) and food services will not be available.
On Wednesdays from 11:00 am ‐ noon, from October 8 through December 3rd (no class on Nov. 26th) in the Computer Lab at the Senior Center, Allen Waxman will be offering (for the 4th time) an 8‐week course for new and novice users to develop basic skills on your iPhone or iPad. We will utilize the excellent book “iPhone for Seniors in easy steps” (with iOS18) by Nick Vandome (approximately $17 on Amazon, we’ll order them for you and hand them out in class, checks payable to the Brookline Senior Center). Bring your (charged) iPhone or iPad to class for hands‐on instruction. Topics (as time permits): Intro & Internet, Phone & Contacts, Video Calls, Messages/Texts, Email & Folders, Web Browsing & Search, Maps & Calendar, Camera & Photos, and Scams & Safety Online.
