On Thursday, May 22 from 1:00-2:00 pm, join Professor Nasir Fazal, MD, for this interesting lecture on linguistic reasons why all of the modern scientific inventions were done in the west and nothing from the orient for the last 1000 years. You will learn an introduction to ancient languages, a basic history of modern scientific inventions, an introduction to scientific reasoning, the future of science and technologies, and an introduction to a new field of science and technology. Professor Fazal, graduated from Punjab University and was awarded a gold medal from the president of the country. He taught at the University and was awarded an international fellowship to do graduate work in nuclear chemistry at MIT. He worked for Smith Kline and Glaxo and they awarded him an international fellowship to do PhD organic chemistry at university of London, Imperial College. He ran a biotechnology company in Cambridge for 20 years and developed dozens of medical devices including the fist device to detect multiple sclerosis. He also taught organic chemistry at Northeastern University for 5 years. He has been doing research as a hobby to find out why all the modern scientific inventions were made in the western world and nothing from the orient for the last 1000 years.
