It’s Spring, a perfect time for a haiku workshop. Haiku is a short nature poem that connects nature and human nature. On Thursday, May 29 from 1:00-2:00 pm, we will learn about haiku, read many haiku poems and try our hands at writing haiku using easy prompts that remind us of Spring. Everyone is
invited to this fun and supportive workshop. You will leave with one or two haiku you have written in keeping with this spring season. Instructor Jeannie Martin, haiku poet and teacher, has published 12 haiku chapbooks and two longer books of haiku mindfulness. She enjoys sharing and teaching about haiku at the Brookline Senior Center.
