Getting Knowledgeable About Senior Living

On Thursday, February 13 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm, Nancy from Wingate Living in Needham will share with you an overview of senior living options and what makes a senior living community a great place to call home. In the presentation, we’ll explore Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing Care. Independent Living is ideal for seniors who are largely independent but may want to
reduce the responsibilities of homeownership. These communities offer a maintenance-free lifestyle with amenities such as housekeeping, dining, and social activities. Assisted Living is for seniors who need help with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, or medication management, assisted living offers a balance of independence and assistance. Residents have their own private apartments. These communities are equipped to handle complex medical needs, including post-surgery recovery or chronic illness management.
