FINANCIAL FRAUD AND COMMON SCAMS TARGETING SENIORS
Has your grandson ever called asking for money? Has an advertisement popped up to upgrade your IT software? Or perhaps the lottery contacts you for a prize you didn’t know you won? These seem like common occurrences, but they are also some of the most common scams! Join the Brookline Senior Center and the CFA Society of Boston on Thursday, October 30 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm as we discuss financial fraud and the common scams that are targeting seniors! Hear members of the financial services community discuss the ways we can identify a potential scam in action and protect yourself from fraudsters. With artificial intelligence and other technology growing ever more powerful, our need to stay alert will need to grow with it.
