COVID-19 CLINIC

The CDC has taken steps to simplify COVID-19 vaccine recommendations and is allowing more flexibility for people at higher risk who want the option of added protection. The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) now recommends an additional bivalent vaccine dose for adults ages 65 years and older and those who are immunocompromised.
Everyone 6 years and older is recommended to get one updated (bivalent) Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine regardless of whether they’ve received any original (monovalent) COVID-19 vaccines. People ages 65 years and older may get one additional dose of COVID-19 vaccine (2nd booster) four or more months after their first bivalent booster. People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised may get one additional dose of updated (bivalent) COVID-19 vaccine two or more months after their first bivalent booster. People should consult their medical provider if they have questions about receiving additional updated doses.
The next clinic will be scheduled for June.
