In observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day, the Brookline Senior Center will be closed on December 25 and January 1. No transportation (transport or medical) or food services will be available on those days.
Friday December 26th and Friday January 2 the building will be open, but transportation (transport or medical) and food services will not be available.
Wednesday, December 3, 1:00 pm Join us for Brookline Music School’s program: The Ultimate One-Man Band. Original songs with guitar and vocals presented in a fun and intimate style will be performed by Scott Pittman. Scott will also play requests! Scott’s formal music education culminated in a B.A. in Percussion Performance from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell in 1990, where he studied under Neil Grover, Fred Buda, and privately with Alan Dawson. Although Scott has played in many popular bands in the Boston area, selling out endless great clubs, students are most excited to find his projects on Apple Music, Spotify, and features in hundreds of YouTube videos. Scott also spent many years performing with several local symphonic and pit orchestras. Scott’s diverse performance background, coupled with his passion for education and technology, makes him a uniquely qualified and inspiring instructor, continually evolving in his approach to music education and performance.
