Healthcare Apps & Devices for Smartphones

On Tuesdays, March 14 through May 2, from 10:30 – 11:30 am, join Allen Waxman at the Senior Center for this 8-week course. Healthcare has moved into the digital age with apps and devices that work with your Smartphone.  

This course for Smartphone users (iPhone and Android) will describe and demonstrate a variety of healthcare apps and home medical devices for Smartphones. Each one-hour session (one per week) will focus on a particular health theme: (1) Health, Exercise, Medical Data & Provider Access, (2) Medication Management, (3) Vision Aids, (4) Hearing Aids & Verbalization, (5 & 6) Blood Glucose, Carbs and Weight, (7) Heart Health, (8) Respiratory Health. Seniors that use Smartphones, and are familiar with downloading and installing apps onto their phone, can register for one or more or all sessions.
