SUMMARY:Larchmont Remembered
DESCRIPTION:\nLarchmont Remembered is a live presentation about the sinking of the steamship Larchmont in February 1907, a maritime tragedy that took place off the coast of Block Island, RI. The riveting story has made Larchmont Remembered one of the most popular lectures in New England! \n\n\n\nThe fascinating presentation covers the story of the ship, its crew and passengers, as well as accounts of survival, panic, murder, and miracles. Daniel F. Harrington, long-time columnist for the Providence Journal and Director of the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame, gives the presentation. \n\n\n\nPlease register at 617-730-2770.\n
